Spring time skiing on Pahtaj\u00e4rvenreitti<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In the past few days, the sun was shining and blue sky was inviting for skiing trips. Unfortunately we were rather busy, but on Thursday we finally had some time for a short skiing trip. The skiing tracks were in very good condition, and partly looked almost as new. We decided to once again make a short round on the Pahtaj\u00e4rvenreitti, North of Hetta, and to have our dinner at one of the fire places. Since skiing went so smooth, our decision fell on stopping at the laavu at Pahtaj\u00e4rvi, where we didn’t have semi-delicious makkara in quite some time now. But: the longer getting days and the soft and warm snow are severe warnings that the sun will soon be strong enough to melt away the white cover of the landscape. Hopefully there will be some more time for skiing before the snow will be gone …<\/p>\n
