Today fog reduced the visibility significantly. Nonetheless, a short walk over lake Ounasjärvi revealed some fantastic views and provided some wonderful moments that I have been able to catch with my camera ..
The Fog
After yesterday’s almost clear sky, today fog dominated the weather conditions. While having to run some errands, I made a short detour over lake Ounasjärvi, which was covered by thick fog. While I was walking over the lake, and hoping to not get run over by a snowmobile, I enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere while seeing only some blurry silhouettes of the shores of lake Ounasjärvi. Also the sun set was blurred out by the fog, but nonetheless beautiful.
After having made some pictures and on my back to the village the fog suddenly disappeared, and the shores and landscape became clear again for a couple of minutes, before disappearing again in the fog. After all, I really enjoyed this wonderful and magical moments on lake Ounasjärvi.
